Effective 10 October 2026. This policy covers Pete Inbox Cleaner, a personal tool operated by Peter Gallo, and this website at https://peteinboxcleaner.com.
One person. The Google account that owns the mailbox. The tool is not a service for other users.
With the owner's permission, the tool uses the Gmail scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.modify. It does not request https://mail.google.com/.
It reads message identifiers and header fields, including From and Reply-To, for mail in Spam and Promotions. It reads enough of each message to apply the keep list. It can add or remove Gmail labels, including moving a message to Trash.
It does not permanently delete mail. It does not send mail. It does not unsubscribe from lists.
The data is used only to decide which Spam and Promotions messages to keep and which to move to Trash. A message is kept when its From or Reply-To address, or that address's exact domain, is on the owner's keep list. Everything else in those two labels may be moved to Trash, and only after the owner has read a report and confirmed that report.
Google user data is not sold. It is not used for advertising. It is not used to train a model. It is not transferred to another app or to another person.
The OAuth client file and the refresh token stay on the owner's private computer, outside git, with access limited to that owner. Reports, a resume checkpoint, and trash receipts stay on that same computer. This website does not receive, store, or display mailbox contents, tokens, or the keep list.
Gmail keeps trashed mail until Google empties Trash, about 30 days. The private computer keeps the ids of trashed messages long enough to identify a mistaken run.
These pages are static. They do not ask for a login, do not set their own cookies, and do not run analytics. The host, Cloudflare, may keep ordinary connection logs for the site. Those logs are not Gmail data.
